Fuku Fuku no sato is a small roadside station selling local fresh vegetables, fresh foods and handmade sweets. Anego beach is known as most beautiful beach with singing-sands in Japan. From here, rush to Karatsu City, Saga Prefecture, and head to Nijino Matsubara. These pine trees was planted to protect people and farmlands from the sea breeze in the olden days, is 400 to 700 m wide and about 4.5 km, one of the largest pine tree forest in Japan. After passing through Nijino matsubara, you will reach the downtown area of ​​Karatsu City. Then, visit Kagamiyama Onsen Bijinyu to heal the fatigue of your trip.     After passing through the Rondon busses(gerato shop) and famouse surf spot, you will arraive at Keya-no Oto. It is a popular spot for touring guests and cyclists. There is a famous gelato nearby, and the pistachio and salt flavors are especially recommended.
  • Town where mountains and the sea coexist (Keya~Hikitsu)

    The scenery changes from here, from the sea to the mountains. A little along the rice field leads into a small fisherman town. Enjoy the calm scenery of the yachts and fishing boats. (Be careful as the road becomes narrow in some places)

    One of the most beautiful beach in Itoshima. Anego no Hama Beach is a beach of “singing” sand that makes a squeaking sound when people walk on it. A spacious parking lot, vending machine, and restroom are avairable. keep an ear to the ground and enjoy their beautiful voices.
  • Niji No Matsubara Pine Grove

    From here, we entered Karatsu City, Saga Prefecture. The pine grove, which was planted to protect people and farmlands from the sea breeze in the olden days, is 400 to 700 m wide and about 4.5 km long, one of the largest pine grove in Japan.   • Around Karatsu Station

  • Kagamiyama Onsen Bijin no Yu
