Yokoteyama Drive-In is one of the few restaurants on the Kusatsu-Shiga Kogen route near Shibu Pass. The altitude of this area is about 2000m, and many people visit there throughout the year to enjoy the outdoors and activities.     "Asama / Shirane / Shiga Sawayaka Highway" will be the first scenic highway registered in Kanto among "Japanese landscape highways". Starting from Karuizawa, the highway runs through Asama Kogen and Kusatsu Onsen to the Shiga Kogen, which is a mountain road with a total length of about 200 km. The recommended season for cycling is the early summer fresh green season and the autumn foliage season. Please note that the section from Kusatsu Onsen to Shiga Kogen during a heavy snowfall area is closed in winter, so please be careful when going out.
